Gosiwon/Dormitory
The housing culture is expensive in Korea. For no deposit and a cheaper option we are offering gosiwon/dormitory living as the basic housing option. Please note gosiwon/dormitory living space is VERY small (approx.6m2) and only contains the minimum of what is needed. These small rooms will have a bed, desk, a bathroom, fridge, small cupboard space and a small TV/monitor. There is a personal bathroom in each room and the kitchen is shared as a commonplace. All utility bills are all included. Due to the small size of gosiwon/dormitory rooms, students who are sensitive to small spaces should consider upgrading to a one room studio.
One room studio
For an additional extra charge, we offer an upgrade to one-room studio housing. Housing will be close by to KAS headquarters near the Hongdae district. One room studios are more spacious compared to gosiwon/dormitory rooms and may be more comfortable especially for students who are considering to participate more than 3months. One room studios usually include a bed, desk, bathroom, fridge, washing machine, microwave, induction, storage space etc..Utilities expenses are NOT INCLUDED. Utility expenses/administrative expenses are paid in advanced during participants stay with the KAS utility bill plan. For the one room upgrade, please ask during consultation.
